Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is a computer support and security administrator who assists DenTech Industrial with managing hardware, software, networking, and solving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Offer technical support to DenTech staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
• Serve as a Help Desk to DenTech employees as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree, or specific certification in field of expertise.
• Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Good organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening.
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Remain current with industry trends and technology as updates are released regularly for software, hardware, and computer components.
