Industry-leading filtration
Donaldson Ultra-Web® filters are made with a proprietary electrospinning process to produce a very fine, continuous, resilient fiber. This fiber “web” has very fine interfiber spaces and is constructed onto a tough cellulose substrate media.
Ultra-Web filters offer several advantages over other types of filter media, including:
- A more robust media that can capture submicron dust particles
- Better pulse cleaning and lower pressure drop
- Longer filter life and cleaner air
- Greater cost savings
These filters perform well on extremely fine, dry, and nonfibrous dust. Flame retardant media is also available.
Key Benefits
- Substrate media offers higher durability and better cleanability
- MERV 15 filtration efficiency rating per ASHRAE 52.2-2012
- Energy savings due to lower pressure drop
- Longer filter life, which reduces replacement and maintenance costs
- Lightweight, easy to install cartridges
Key Applications
- Fumed silica
- Metallic fume
- Metallurgical powders
- Oily weld fume
- Pharmaceutical compounds
