Donaldson Downflo® Ambient collector for welding applications

The Downflo® Ambient (DFA) is a weld fume extractor. The DFA uses air circulation in the facility to filter and reduce the overall concentrations of weld fumes. Since the DFA doesn’t need ductwork or hooding, it can be installed in facilities that have overhead space limitations.

  • Comes standard with Donaldson Evolution triagonal cartridges with Ultra-Web® Flame Retardant media
  • Inlet located at the top of the unit has a spark shield to reduce entry of large sparks
  • Easily accessible dust drawer on the face of the DFA collector
  • Electrical control panel is integrated into the housing and comes standard with Delta P filter cleaning control
  • 24/7 continuous duty
  • Energy-efficient pulse cleaning reduces compressed air consumption
